Inert Vibration Anti-Movement Switch

X-ray correct inert IED device with vibration switch, fully functional LEDs display arming and firing

The X-ray correct, inert, vibration anti-movement switch firing circuit contains all of the necessary components of an improvised explosive device (IED). The circuit is fully functional and will demonstrate that the firing switch has been activated by emitting an audible tone or illuminating the LED in the blasting cap. The circuit board contains an X-ray correct battery, wire, switch, detonator, and inert explosive.

Powered by four AAA batteries, this IED circuit would be activated by movement or vibration via the commercial anti-vibration switch. The military TNT explosive simulant is engineered to have the same density and effective atomic number (Zeff) as the real explosive threat.
