Inert Large PVC Pipe with Suicide Switch

This training aid simulates a more traditional X-ray correct pipe bomb, initiated using time fuse to activate the device. Inside the PVC pipe is smokeless powder explosive simulant. This training aid contains all the necessary P.I.E.S. (Pyro, Initiator, Explosive, and Starter) components of a non-electrically initiated IED. The X-ray correct explosive simulant is engineered to have the same density and effective atomic number (Zeff) as the real explosive threat.
